The comet Garradd is moving to the constellation Drago (02/2012)
The comet C/2009P1 (Garradd) is moving in February from the constellation Hercules to the constellation Drago. In late February, its brightness is between 5.5 and 6.0 magnitudes. On February 3, the comet passes by a spherical cluster of stars M92, in the constellation Hercules at a distance of half a degree. The comet can easily be seen with binoculars or a telescope, but can hardly be recognized with the naked eye.
In the end of February, the comet may barely be seen with a naked eye if it is observed in the dark sky.
