ARCturus

The magazine Tähdet ja Avaruus, issue 1/2012, points out that December 2011 is a month worth remembering in the history of astronomy. Two substantial findings were recorded in that month. The first finding was an exoplanet in the middle of the habitable zone, with an ocean on its surface. In the end of the month, there was a reason for a great joy when the first exoplanets in the size of the Earth were found.
