Educational programmes and space research

On the Internet, there are numerous pages with  the theme of astronomy. Their contents can be used in teaching. A major part of the sources introduce the basics of astronomy. They are presented either as large entities or smaller but detailed facts. In recent times – thanks to the modern digital world – the websites also include ready-made educational programmes. With the help of them, the students can independently study astronomy on their own level of knowledge. The most advanced programmes guide the student in proceeding in his studies pacing along with his piling know-how. In addition to this, the programmes are “clever enough” to offer repetitive activities and find resolutions for eliminating misunderstandings.

The programmes used in teaching can also be entertaining, funny and yet educational. These qualities are the most appreciated by the students. But what is important is that even when being entertaining, the programme should enhance the learning process instead of just being fun. Moreover, there also are many qualified space programmes for adventures in the universe. With the help of them, the humans have an option to move everywhere in space with an immense speed and without caring whether there is gravity or not. Pieces of stones, hot centres or strong black holes ahead need not be of any concern, either.

Many big organizations have made websites which introduce the most recent objects of space research, observations and new findings. On these websites, the students may find current information on the ongoing research projects as well as their results.

With the help of Stellarium programme, there are no limits for moving in the universe, no restrictions for time and place. Neither is the speed any problem.

www.shatters.net/celestia/

Celestia programme gives an opportunity to venture in the space. It is somewhat different from Stellarium, but very educational, nevertheless.
